Dude…thats the point of the show. Trivial knowledge. When you go to school, all you learn is trivial knowledge. Math, science, history, English, all of it is trivial and not practical. Thats the point of the show. If you don’t get that, then shouldn’t be watching the show, and chances are, you are too unintelligent to compete. We don’t watch the show so we can get all of the answers. We watch it so we are challenged. I’m sure the Jeopardy people really don’t care about how well you do. So shut up, and watch the show. If you have a problem, then don’t.

It is a combination of trivia and some logic. For example, in this clue they help narrow it down immensely by saying opened in 1971. That rules out several reasonable candidates, such as Carter, Bush, Clinton & possible even Reagan. On the other hand, most likely a president of the 20th century. Thus, logic would say work backwards from 1971 and low and behold the first ex-president that you come to is LBJ. Of course you have to keep going, but clearly not JFK, Ike, Truman, FDR etc. Using a tiny bit of logic, this was probably the easiest final question that you could hope for. Very little knowledge required.
